Ruth Kemmer currently holds the position of Managing Director, Global Head of Front Office Supervision, Conduct and Control in Global Markets at Nomura International PLC. Ruth is responsible for Front Office Supervision in Global Markets EMEA and Asia, promoting and coordinating effective supervision across Global Markets, managing the regulatory controls agenda for the division, and embedding a robust and formalised approach to supervision, risk and control within GM's culture.

Prior to joining Nomura, Ruth was a consultant with Ernst & Young, consulting Financial Services clients on their Operational Risk frameworks, and simultaneously gaining and MBA before joining Nomura in 2009. During her Nomura career Ruth has worked in Operational Risk Management in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo, before being appointed to Global Markets Front Office Supervision and relocating to London and taking on a global team based in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Mumbai.
