Tom Venezia is the Business & Sales leader in the Americas for LeapXpert Inc. with a focus on company growth and client engagement through direct sales, partnerships & alliances, and account management.Previously, Tom served as Head of Americas Sales and Account Management at Symphony, Inc from May 2019 to February 2022, where he led a team focused on account management and growth of existing clients and acquisition of new firms to the Symphony community across North and South America.Prior to joining Symphony, Tom spent many years as the Senior Vice President in charge of Trading Capabilities globally at Refinitiv / Thomson Reuters. In this role, Tom was responsible for the oversight and growth of the electronic trading network and capabilities within the exchange traded markets.Tom has nearly 30 years experience in the financial services industry having worked at firms like Reuters, Bridge Trading, Chase Bank and QV Trading Systems Inc. He held a number of positions within the Fixed Income and Equities trading divisions designing and implementing transactional platforms and electronic trading tools for some of the largest Banks and Brokerage firms on the street.Tom was also the Managing Director of the Thomson Reuters US Broker Dealer, RTSL and member of the RTSL Board for 9 years.Tom holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance and a Master of Science Degree in Information Systems; as well as advanced certifications in Object Oriented Development & Design and Technology Project Management from Baruch College and Villanova University respectively.
