Sophie Rutherford is the EMEA Head of FX Business risk at State Street with 1LoD responsibility for operational, regulatory and conduct risk for the FX Business. Sophie also provides business risk support to the Global Markets Surveillance team including Communications and Trade Surveillance. Sophie is a Managing Director and joined State Street in 2015. Sophie previously worked in Global Markets/Investment Banking functions at RBS, UBS and Morgan Stanley. Sophie started her career as an IT developer and has experience of project and programme management.
