Nyran is based in New York and has over 22 years of audit experience in financial services. He recently joined Citadel Securities to lead their Internal Audit function. Prior to this role, Nyran was the Chief Audit Executive at Guggenheim Partners where he was responsible for audit coverage of their global Securities and Asset Management businesses. He initially held dual roles at Guggenheim as the Head of Audit for their securities business, and the Head of Audit Practices, and was responsible for some of the key transformation initiatives within the audit function. Nyran also worked in Credit Suisse’s internal audit function covering various businesses as a Head of Audit, including equities and fixed income trading, research, investment banking, and asset management, as well as the risk and control functions.  Nyran started his career in PwC’s assurance practice where he was focused on banking and capital markets clients.
