Mark Taylor is the Head of Financial Crime Compliance in London and the co-global head of FCC for Investment Banking at Credit Suisse. Mark is a Compliance specialist with a 20-year Compliance career. Previous to joining Credit Suisse, he has worked on a number of projects including building out offices in Russia, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar and Warsaw at Goldman Sachs (GS). Mark was registered as EMEA MLRO for GS during the last 5 years and was the EMEA Head of Financial Crime Compliance and Global Head of the Anti-Bribery Group. Before that, he worked for Hambros Bank and The Securities and Futures Authority (now FCA), where he was responsible for the pilot project and precursor to the Transaction Monitoring Unit. Mark was the CEO of Hambros Clearing business, and a Senior Director of the UK’s lead agency for coaching development UK Coaching for 8 years until March 2017. He has recently been appointed a trustee of Street Games, a charity that aims to bring sport to disadvantaged young people. He is also Chair of the Tim Lewis Trust which provides grants in respect of dialysis and sports research.
