Mark Satterthwaite

Mark moved to Dublin with responsibility for Compliance for the Europe Cluster in 2019. Responsibilities include coverage of entities subject to local country as well as European Central Bank supervision. Mark is designated by the Central Bank of Ireland as the Prescribed Control Function for Compliance and AML. 

Prior to moving to Dublin, Mark was based out of Hong Kong and responsibilities included being the Regional Head for Institutional Clients Group Compliance as well as the acting Head of APAC Compliance. Before moving to Hong Kong, Mark spent 3 years in Japan as the Chief Compliance Officer of both Citigroup Global Markets Japan Inc. and Citigroup Japan Holdings Corp.

Prior to joining Citi, Mark worked for Deutsche Bank AG in London, where he served most recently as the Head of Asset Wealth Management Compliance. In the course of his 15-year career with Deutsche Bank, Mark also served as Head of Global Markets Compliance and was a Board member of a number of different operating Companies.

In the early part of his career, Mark was employed by the London Stock Exchange as well as by the Securities and Investment Board (SIB) in a number of regulatory related positions.
