Vassiliki (Vicky) Siabanis is responsible for Global Supervision and BCU (Business Control Unit) across the Investment Bank at DB. This includes the development, enhancement, strategic direction and execution of the Supervisory Framework and platform. She is also responsible for the design and continuous improvements, prioritization and monitoring of Level Once Controls across the organization. Prior to joining Global Supervision at DB, Vicky served as the Global Head of ICG (Institutional Client Services) BCU (Business Control Unit) where she was responsible for the oversight and aggregation of the non-financial risk management of the ICG Business Unit.
Vicky brings over 20 years of experience in the brokerage and banking business across various roles in Global Markets and Internal Audit. Prior to joining DB in 2015, Vicky spent over 15 years at Goldman Sachs where she served as the Global Head of the Supervisory Control Group in the Securities Division (2006-2015). This included the development and global roll out of the Supervisory Framework and Supervisory Platform. She also served as the key liaison for interactions between US regulators and the Securities Division. Additionally, Vicky served as an auditor of a variety of businesses across GS (2000-2006) where she was responsible for planning, executing and managing risk-based audits. Vicky holds a Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance from Pace University.
