Rajiv Bhattacharya is the Head of Governance & Controls for Scotiabank’s Global Banking and Markets division. Included amongst his responsibilities is oversight of the Communications Surveillance, Trade Floor Supervision, Volcker and Third Party Risk Management programs.

Rajiv joined Scotiabank in 2022. Prior to that he filled senior risk, control and change roles at State Street and UBS, he cut his teeth in the industry at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. 

Rajiv has a BSc in International Management & French from the University of Bath in the UK.
