As Head of BMO's IBOR Transition Office, Rachel is responsible for managing the banks transition from IBORs to alternative rates. She is accountable for ensuring BMO's coordinated approach, overseeing all operating groups and corporate areas throughout the transition. Rachel is also responsible for providing training on key topics relating to the transition and has represented BMO at various industry conferences speaking on LIBOR related topics.
Rachel joined BMO Capital Markets in 2009. During her tenure at BMO, Rachel worked in the CM Compliance Department helping lead the bank's registration as a non-U.S. swap dealer with the CFTC and stand up the swap dealer compliance program. She has also been instrumental in evolving BMO CM's Regulatory Transformation Office, with responsibility over global regulatory change impacting the Capital Markets businesses. Prior to joining BMO, Rachel worked at the National Stock Exchange and Morningstar. She has a JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis. Additionally, Rachel has her Series 7 and 63 licenses.
