Leigh Mulholland

Leigh Mulholland joined Capital Power in 2007 and was appointed Chief Compliance Officer in 2015, where she oversees and manages Capital Power’s Ethics & Compliance Program, including the privacy and trading compliance programs. She is also the Board Vice Chair of the North American Generator Forum, an industry association of regulatory compliance professionals working in the electric power sector, a post that she has held since 2018. Leigh is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) and a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics. Prior to her current position, Leigh was VP, Corporate Strategy & Planning and was responsible for Capital Power’s long-term plan and the annual business planning process. She has led the commercial responsibilities for the Alberta coal fleet as well as some business development activity. Previous roles included Sr. Manager, Valuations, Financial Analyst and Financial Accountant. Prior to joining Capital Power, Leigh worked in the investment management industry. In addition to the CCEP designation, Leigh is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). She holds an MS in Risk Management (NYU), an MS in Accounting (University of Illinois) and an MA in Economics (TCU). She completed her BA in Economics and Political Science, also from TCU.
