Felix Flinterman

Felix Flinterman, based in Amsterdam (NL) since 2019, is the Head of Capital Markets and Data Supervision Division of the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (‘AFM’). He is responsible for risk based and data driven supervision of entities’ risk management and adequacy of their internal controls in the area of transaction reporting and market abuse.  Before joining the AFM, Felix worked for the European Securities and Markets Authority (Paris) as head of the Supervision department with responsibility for the supervision of credit rating agencies and trade repositories within the EU. Felix started his career as an EU competition lawyer and, subsequently, worked as a (senior) policy officer at the Dutch Central Bank, European Commission and AFM.
