Dr Ekaterina Moiseeva

Ekaterina Moiseeva has master’s degrees in Power Engineering and Economics and Management in Power Sector. She also defended a doctorate degree at Stockholm’s Royal Institute of Technology on the topic of “Exercising Market Power in Wind-Integrated Power Systems”. Ekaterina has around 10 years’ experience of working with topics related to market manipulation and insider trading and a record of scientific publications in this area.

Currently, Ekaterina is the Manager of the Market Surveillance team at Nord Pool. Market Surveillance team works with all questions related to REMIT and other relevant power sector regulations: we support Nord Pool members on their questions related to REMIT compliance, engage with National Regulatory Authorities and ACER, monitor Nord Pool’s markets, and work with market design questions, ensuring a fair and transparent market for all.
