Andrew Bowley

Andrew is responsible for support of Nomura’s Wholesale Division governance including executive committee, board level oversight of investments and partnerships, and support for oversight of Instinet, a Nomura company, as Non Executive Director.

Andrew is also the Deputy Chair and Co-ordinator of Nomura’s Wholesale Sustainability Forum, setting the business strategy and leading initiatives to adapt the business to the developments of Sustainable Finance and the challenges and opportunities of climate change.

This leadership spans the Nomura Greentech advisory business, infrastructure financing and product innovation, as well as internal frameworks for ESG deal screening and alignment to frameworks such as the UN Principles for Responsible Banking, and the Net Zero Banking Alliance.

Across a career in financial services spanning 34 years, Andrew has held front office business development and management roles across equity and fixed income asset classes, and held external advisory roles.
