The 1LoD Summit is the first independent conference for the control functions that sit in the first line of defence — control functions initially employed by and located within the front office of the markets and banking divisions of investment banks and now being adopted more broadly across financial services firms.  The 1LoD Summit 2018, London examined the evolution of 1LoD control functions across the industry as they refine their mandate, continue the focus on efficiency and adapt to the maturation of the three lines model.

This year we welcomed over 250 professionals from across the three lines of defence for a one-day event combining keynote presentations, one-on-one interviews on stage, panel discussions, workshops, boardroom style interactive sessions, intimate roundtable discussions and an exhibition of the leading technology and service providers in the market.

The 2018 1LoD Summit London also featured the latest audience interaction technology to ensure maximum engagement between speakers and delegates, up to and during the event.

What are people saying?

“The 1LoD Summit was an extremely well organized and highly interactive conference. The fact that it was so well attended clearly illustrates both the demand and need to bring market practitioners together to discuss key issues on controls, culture and conduct.”

Ian Fisher, Managing Director, Head of the Culture and Conduct Programme, Société Générale
